Falcon Chemicals introduces cost effective paint product.

Falcon Nigeria Ltd, a paint manufacturing company based in Ogun State Nigeria has introduced to the Nigerian market a cost effective locally produced paint product. The product is an outcome of the ingenuity of the company’s research team. The director of operations of the company, Mr Babatunde Franklin Adefarati gave a hint about the product at a recent paint coating show in Lagos. He told reporters that the company’s new product which is a Titanium substitute for both water based decorative paints (Dualcote TSP 2016) and solvent based paints (Falcotan TSG 2016) were sourced locally through a team of researchers in the organisation.
He said the product will dramatically change the world of painting in Nigeria. He explained further that the new product will save paint manufacturers on the cost of production and also help boost the quality of their work. While expressing great confidence about the product he informed that the company has made a partial arrangement with another big processing plant to undertake the procedure of making the product on a large scale.
The arrangement with the bigger manufacturing company is to help in effective processing of the raw material leading to an end product with a world class standard. The company according to him will continue to encourage the use local raw materials as this could save the country’s foreign exchange however small it is.
He then suggested that manufacturers need to think outside the Box and be innovative in their operations pointing out that the need to be creative cannot be over emphasized in a digital age. ‘The way to go is to keep thinking and inventing new ideas and products. We are in a challenging world. It takes the creative mind to live through the challenges.’ He said.
