Performance across sectors was bearish as 3 out of 5 indices under our coverage declined. The Insurance index depreciated the most, down 2.2% on the back of sell-offs in MANSARD (-8.9%) and REGALINS (-9.1%). Similarly, the Consumer Goods and Oil & Gas indices declined 0.3% apiece due to losses in NESTLE (-0.7%), DANGSUGAR (-2.7%) and FORTE (-6.2%). Despite today’s positive performance, we retain our bearish market outlook over the near term as we do not see any potential drivers over the horizon.
