27 ships laden with petroleum products, foods to arrive Lagos ports
Twenty-seven ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected to arrive Apapa and Tin-Can Island ports in Lagos from Nov. 30 to Dec. 18.
The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) stated this in its daily publication – `Shipping Position’, – a copy of which was made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in Lagos. NPA said that the expected ships contained general cargoes, containers, steel products, buck wheat, rice, bulk sugar, bulk salt, bulk charcoal, crude palmolein, kerosene and petrol.
The document noted that 11 other ships had arrived the ports, waiting to berth with rice, bulk urea, crude palm oil, crude palm olein, petrol, diesel and petrol. 17 other ships are currently discharging buck wheat, steel product, general cargoes, steel products, containers, bulk gypsum, soda ash, butane, petrol, kerosene and bulk gas at the ports
