Gulf oil review cash benefits to employees
Gulf Oil Nigeria Limited has reviewed the cash benefits to beneficiaries of the company’s long service award.
The review which became effective from May this year shows that those who have 10 years meritorious service will now be entitled to N300 cash award. Those who have 15 years credit service will now receive N500.00 and those 20 years of unblemished record are now to take home N750.00.
Staffers with 25 years of service according to the letter announcing the review will now receive N1,000.00 cash gift, while those who have put in 30 years will have a take home cash of N1,500.00.
These benefits are in recognition of employees invaluable contributions as well as a recognition of their loyalty, dedication and selfless service to the company.
These benefits, observers believe are designed to encourage honesty among staff and encourage stability in the company. This, observers said discourages high employees turnover.
Meanwhile, the company’s manager, technical Mr. Bills has announced his intention to go on voluntary retirement. Mr. Bills will retire in August this year
