Nigerian Electrification Project gets AfDB $350m facility
Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, has said that the African Development Bank (AfDB) will provide $250 million to support the Nigerian Electrification Project. Adelabu said this in a statement shared on his X (formerly known as Twitter) on Thursday.
He said the assistance underscored the fruitful outcome of a productive bilateralcCooperation meeting held at the ongoing “Just Energy Transition and Agricultural Transformation for Africa” conference in Busan, South Korea. The gathering, presided over by AfDB President, Dr. Akinwumi Adesina, brought together key stakeholders to discuss pivotal energy and agricultural transformations for the African continent.
