Naira loses 10k at CBN forex auction
Naira lost 10k to the dollar at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) biweekly Wholesale Dutch Auction System (WDAS) on Wednesday. The apex bank disclosed this on its Website after the conclusion of the auction. It sold 300 million dollars worth of foreign exchange to banks at the rate of N155.75 to the dollar at the auction. The CBN sold the same amount of dollars at the rate of N155.74 to the dollar at the previous auction on Monday. 19 banks participated at the auction against the 21 that made bids at Monday’s the auction
