Publisher’s background
Omoh Gabriel is a Nigerian journalist and former business editor of Anchor Newspaper, Newage, and Vanguard.
He He has written regularly for major Nigerian media outlets, including Vanguard, Republic Newspaper, Nigerian Economist, Financial Standard and UNDP TIPS among others.
Omoh Gabriel is the “Publisher of Businessnewsreport.com.ng” now repackaged as BusinessWatchng.com.
He has covered economic and industrial issues starting with Republic newspaper in 1987.
He moved to the Nigerian Economist and rose to position of Assistant Editor in 1989.
He was employed by Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce and Industry Mines and Agriculture and seconded to UNDP/ITO as expert in Trade Information for West Africa.
He rose to the position of Assistant Director Trade information.
While in NACCIMA, he trained at CBI Rotterdam Netherland on exporting to develop countries. He left NACCIMA and worked with Financial Standard newspaper before joining Newage newspaper and later Vanguard from where he left to set up Businesswatchng.com.
He has attended several workshops and seminars locally and internationally.
Travel to several countries to cover World Bank/IMF Annual Meetings and other global events.
