Former GMD of NNPC to be arraigned July 4
The arraignment of a former Group Managing Director of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Mr Andrew Yakubu, has been fixed for July 4.
Yakubu and Jide Omokore, a businessman, and others were expected to be arraigned by Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for alleged money laundering on Monday. The defendants were not in court and sources told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that “My Lord has fixed the formal arraignment for July 4.’’
