Ikeja Hotel pays N7.5 final dividend per share as NGX All-Share Index gains 1bp
Ikeja Hotel Plc said that a final dividend (FY:2022) of ₦7.50k per unit of ordinary share amounting to a total of ₦155.9 million will be paid to its shareholder. Also, the shareholders granted approval for a bonus issuance of 1 share for every 3 shares owned in the Company, to be distributed to members on the Register of Members as of July 4, 2023.
Meanwhile the Stock Market closed positive for the fourth consecutive session as the All-Share index gained 0.01% to close at 65,492.81 points. Gains in DANGSUGAR (+6.95%), UCAP (+0.35%) and TRANSCORP (+7.14%) outweighed losses in ZENITHBANK (-1.18%), GTCO (-1.78%) and ACCESSCORP (-0.30%) keeping the market in the green. Consequently, the ASI’s year-to-date (YTD) return rose to 27.79%, while the market capitalisation gained ₦2.27bn to close at ₦35.84trn.
Analysis of today’s market activities showed trade turnover settled lower relative to the previous session, with the value of transactions down by 1.80%. A total of 348.32m shares valued at ₦4.05bn were exchanged in 6,237 deals. TRANSCORP (+7.14%) led the volume and value charts with 144.71m units traded in deals worth ₦682.61m.
Market breadth closed negative at a 1.27-to-1 ratio with declining issues outnumbering advancing ones. CONOIL (-10.00%) led eighteen (18) others on the laggard’s log while TRANSCOHOT (+8.99%) topped fourteen (14) others on the leader’s table.
