Naira remains firm against dollar at WDAS

The Naira on Monday remained firm against the Dollar at the Wholesales Dutch Auction System (WDAS) of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). This was the outcome of the 44th session of the biweekly auction at the apex bank. The Naira was traded at N155.75 to the dollar, the same rate it traded on June 12 at the 43th session of WDAS. The CBN offered 300 million Dollars to 18 commercial banks that participated at the auction. Despite the high demand for forex at WDAS, the figure has remained the same for three consecutive auctions.
