NDIC hand over fraudulent MFBs operators to EFCC
Any operators of failed Microfinance Banks involved in feraudulent practices will be handed over to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, ICPC, and the police. The Managing Director of Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC), Alhaji Umaru Ibrahim disclosed this to members of National Association of Microfinance Banks, who visited him in Abuja. He said that those who perpetrated frauds would face justice. According to him, the examinations conducted by the corporation in some of the failed banks showed that many of the former operators had cases
