Nigerian Breweries half year profit hits N27.60b
The Nigerian Breweries (NB) Plc on Thursday announced a half year profit before tax of N27.60 billion to June 31, 2011. NB unaudited result released at the close of the market was contained in a statement forwarded to the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) in Lagos. According to the company, profit after tax stood atN18.72 billion, compared with the N15.87 billion recorded in June 2010. Gross earnings accounted for N110.20 billion during the period under review compared with N88.44 billion recorded in the preceding period of 2010.
