MTN deepens supplier collaboration at 2026 supplier forum, reinforces vision for a digitally enabled supply chain
MTN Nigeria has reaffirmed its commitment to building a resilient, digitally enabled, and future-ready supply chain through collaboration, innovation, and technology-driven transformation at the 2026 GSSC Supplier Forum.
Held under the theme, “Supplier Collaboration in a Digital Age: Leveraging Automation, AI & Big Data Analytics” the forum brought together over 500 suppliers and partners, both physically and virtually, providing a platform for engagement, knowledge sharing, and strategic alignment on the future of supply chain management.
The event was officially opened by Modupe Kadri, Chief Financial Officer, MTN Nigeria, who set the tone for a day focused on collaboration, digital innovation, operational excellence, and sustainable value creation across MTN’s supplier ecosystem.
Delivering the keynote address, Adeola Oduntan, General Manager, Global Sourcing & Supply Chain (GSSC), MTN Nigeria, welcomed suppliers and partners and reiterated the company’s commitment to deepening collaboration and driving value through strong business partnerships.
“Our suppliers remain critical partners in our journey towards delivering operational excellence and sustainable growth. Through collaboration, innovation, and the adoption of emerging technologies, we can build a supply chain ecosystem that is agile, resilient, and equipped for the future,” he said.
Oduntan emphasized the importance of aligning supplier capabilities with MTN’s strategic priorities and highlighted the role of digital technologies, including automation, artificial intelligence, and data analytics, in transforming supply chain operations and enhancing service delivery.
The forum featured insightful presentations from key MTN business functions, including Financial Operations, Treasury, HR Medical, Tax, and Legal, providing suppliers with a deeper understanding of critical processes, compliance requirements, and opportunities for enhanced collaboration.
The HR Medical team highlighted health and wellness expectations for suppliers, while the Tax team provided updates on regulatory compliance requirements and best practices for ensuring seamless tax administration and reconciliation.

A key highlight of the forum was the discussion on how emerging technologies such as automation, artificial intelligence, and big data analytics are reshaping supply chain management. Speakers explored how these tools can drive improved decision-making, enhance operational visibility, mitigate risks, and support the development of a more agile and responsive supply chain ecosystem.
