Dangote Refinery reduces diesel price to N1, 700 per litre
Dangote Refinery has reduced its diesel price from N1, 780 to N1, 700 per litre. The new price, which was communicated to distributors through a notice, takes effect from today, Wednesday.
Industry sources said the price reduction was in reaction to new developments in the international oil market. The Major Energies Marketers Association of Nigeria (MEMAN) said the estimated spot landing cost of diesel fell by N127.28 per litre from N1, 823.68 per litre on September 30 to N1, 696.40 on October 2.

Its Energy Bulletin also indicated that the seven-day average AGO import-parity cost declined from N1,871.34 per litre to N1,823.19 over the same period. This is the second time the company would reduce price of diesel within a month.
